The VELA Black Youth Development Program was created by VELA Youth Fund, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit.  BYD is a proprietary curriculum, copyrighted @ 2022 as VELA Black Youth Development Program. All Rights reserved.

The VELA BYD Program was created in tandem with our charity’s mission to provide necessary support and guidance to Black and Brown Youth.  The curriculum was designed to promote student growth in critical social/emotional, cultural, spiritual ,and academic areas.   We invite all  individuals, non profits, churches, private schools, and/or other community organizations who share our mission to utilize the curriculum to support designated youth.
